Teacher Profile
Dr. Lo received his LL.B. in Financial and Economic Law from the Department of Law, National Taiwan University, in 2012. In the same year, he passed both the Bar Examination and the Civil Service Senior Examination (Legal Affairs Category) in Taiwan. He then pursued his LL.M. in International Law at the Graduate Institute of Law, National Taiwan University, and obtained his master’s degree in 2015.
After graduation, Dr. Lo served in the Department of Legal Affairs of the Mainland Affairs Council, Executive Yuan, Republic of China (Taiwan), where he was responsible for legal research and policy implementation related to cross-strait affairs and agreements. In 2017, he passed the Ministry of Education’s Government Scholarship for Study Abroad Examination (International Organizations and International Law category). He subsequently earned his J.S.M. (Master of the Science of Law) from Stanford Law School in 2019 and was admitted to the J.S.D. (Doctor of Juridical Science) program, receiving his doctoral degree from Stanford University in 2024.
Dr. Lo has served as a Lecturer and Teaching Fellow at Stanford Law School. Since August 2024, he has been a faculty member of the College of Law, National Taiwan University. His main research interests include International Economic and Trade Law, International Investment Law, Public International Law, Cross-Strait Legal Issues, and Empirical Legal Studies.
